When does a family become a liability?



Family is usually made of people who are connected by blood. they comprise of siblings such as mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, cousins, uncles,aunties and others. The expectation is that family must be the best supporting system for anyone.There is a saying that blood is thicker than water. This means that family bonds are deeper and one should priotize family members over others. However is family an asset or a liability?
The blood and emotional connections involved directly place an expectation that family should come to each other help when needed. however at what level this expectation becomes an unhealthy dependency and a burden. For those who come from humble begins, they are aware how the complexity involved to make it to the top. It has been established indirectly in our African or even Asian cultures that the first to succeed should support or take under his wings his family members. This blind expectation is not good for the progress of individual. it becomes an obstacles to support oneself and others at the same time. therefore an individual should provide a helping hand when he has the capacity to do so.
A family is liability when it hinders the progress of someone. A family should provide a supportive system to help an individual to operate in a friendly environment. Anything that disturbs the progress of someone, directly becomes a liability. It is not a bad thing seeking for help. it becomes a problem when it becomes a total dependency. There are instances where people have decided to cut off completely their family. This is because they are seen as cash cow where family members can get easy money. In the situation where the family proposes only problems, it becomes a liability.
As mentioned before, a family is an asset if it provide a sustainable environment. The family should be a safe space for everyone. An environment where one can get love and support. This means that someone can help and likewise get support too  when it is required. Family is supposed to provide the best emotional support especially for individual who are involved in many things. if the family is no longer a safe space, it becomes a nuisance to someone. The family members have to contribute positively to the progress of their family members.
In few words, the family can become a liability if it interfere with the success of someone and an asset when it provide a positive ecosystem for all the family members to strive. Therefore it imperative for the family to maintain a good balance to create a healthy environment for all its members.

International football was established in the early 20th century and it is governed by Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) . Players are key integral part of football. players decides to represent countries because of their cultural connections, birth place and parents background or their heritage.
