Why West African men like marrying East African women but East Africa men do not like marrying west African women?

 What's driving the intermarriages between West Africans and East Africans?

Marriage is a special reunion of two people who love each other. there are a lot of factors that determine the decision of people to tie the knot. It is a beautiful thing for two people from two completely different sides of the continent to form a union. West African men are increasingly marrying East African women. This is a good thing as it brings various cultures together and strengthen bonds between people of the African continent. However the question remains worth asking, why West African men are ever more marrying East African women while East African men barely marry West African women?

The movement of men from West Africa for opportunity leads to marriage. West Africa generally edges out East Africa in terms of overall higher education infrastructure, this means more highly educated population. Most of highly educated men from West Africa migrate to East Africa to fill the gap for technical jobs and highly skilled jobs since East Africa still undersupplies a sufficient very skilled population. The men settle within East African societies and bonds with the local population. As a results, they end up marrying the local women. on the other hands, few people move from East Africa to West Africa. Even those who do for educational purposes prefer to return to East Africa after finishing their education. Thus the reason there are few marriages between Eastern African men with western African women.

The West African culture and customs have some unhealthy expectation of their men. Certain practices such as providing girlfriend monthly allowances are barely rooted in East Africa. Therefore, East African women are influenced differently by its society which is still dominantly conservative. Therefore, it is easy for West African men to date Eastern African women as they do not have to spend lavishly. The women are still raised to admire other qualities than just the depth of the man's pocket. However the ability of Western African to spoil ladies draws most East African ladies to them. 

West African women are more outspoken than their peer Easter African Women. The last ones are very calm and collected. it is rare to witness loud women from East Africa. The reason is that in most of Eastern African society, a loud lady is considered as not well raised. Consequently, these qualities found in the East African women are appealing to most men who desire quietness and peace. This facilitate the job of the men to choose their partner. The men get something different from what they are used to in Western Africa. Therefore the character factor affects the decision of the men to settle with Eastern African women. 

On the other hand, it may not be entirely true but it is believed that Western African women are more feminists than Eastern African women. Some even say that they are more enlightened than their peers meaning that they cannot accept just bare minimum. This illustrates why Eastern African men struggles to sustain them and match their energy. They don't just keep quiet and listen, They are more combative. They also do not possess the financial muscles like Western African men. Even if they are financial stable, Most Eastern African men do not believe in girlfriend allowance. On top of that, they are less tolerant of loud women. All these factors combined ruled them out of marriage of western African women.

In few words, The Union of western African people and Eastern African people through marriage depends on diverse factors. it is not secret that a great number of women from eastern Africa are increasingly tying knots with Western Africa men. This scenario indicates that both societies provide different perspective what people aspire to when they consider entering into relationships.
